Research & development

Sensus conducts extensive, on-going research into the health benefits and technical properties of inulin. The main objectives of this program are to provide scientific evidence of the health effects of Frutafit® inulin and Frutalose® oligofructose, nutritional support for customers, support for health claims and support on how to use Frutafit® and Frutalose® most effectively.

We work with a network of high-level research organizations such as TNO Quality of Life, Leatherhead Food Research, universities worldwide, and pan-European research networks. The Cosun Food Technology Centre (Cosun's central R&D institute) is an important partner, especially for research for product and process development.

Further studies on intestinal health and other health benefits of Frutafit® and Frutalose® are currently taking place and continue to be planned in collaboration with well-known institutes or universities.
